How to Beat Cancer the Natural Way

For over 50 years now, the world has been living in the anxiety of the deadly monster, Cancer. Every day, over 20,000 people die of cancer and with such statistics, it’s totally okay for people to be scared. However, there’s one pungent remedy that has proved to suppress the fear effectively: knowledge. Doctors and scientists believe that if cancer victims can beat the illness in their minds, then they can beat it out of their bodies. Health magazines, television shows and online blogs dedicated to spreading awareness on the possible antidotes of cancer have been set up and maybe soon enough, these efforts might just pay off.

Nevertheless, orthodox methods to fight cancer continue to go belly up, even with the billions of dollars poured into the research. Chemotherapy seems to be at the top of the, perhaps, current breakthrough but the world is heavily hedging its bets on whether chemotherapy is, indeed a cancer cure or just another risky provisional treatment procedure. Sure there are some patients who have been declared cancer-free after undergoing chemotherapy. But a good percentage of the population has also been reported to be ailing after several years of being diagnosed cancer-free. In addition, the side effects of the procedure have proven quite fatal for some victims, with extreme cases of death been recorded.

So is there a cancer remedy out there that works, without necessarily harming the body? Well, guys like Howard Hoxey, Dr. Max Gerson, and Dr. Johanna Budwig have developed therapeutic formulas that they believe can supply the body with the right metabolic requirements and effectively slow down cancer. And just to be clear, this is not a campaign or claim that this is the definite course of action for cancer cure. I’m just merely stating that I strongly believe that these natural physiotherapies may go a long way to suppress the cancer cells, either alone or in unification with other conventional methods. Here is an all-inclusive approach to curing cancer.

Nutritional treatment

You are what you eat. A proper diet is the backbone of any successful therapy, artificial or not. Scientists believe that certain nutrients such as sugar feeds favour the growth and multiplication of cancerous cells and by avoiding such foods, tumour growth can be slowed down. Other nutrients that should be eschewed include processed foods, coffee, alcohol, fluorides and soft beverages. Knowing what to eat is crucial for any cancer patient. Herbs, fruits, and vegetables that are highly rich in vitamins are incredible for bodily repair and cleansing. So incorporating foods like broccoli, cabbage, berries, grapes, ginger, garlic, green tea, turmeric and leafy vegetables in your diet will do you some good by providing the necessary nutritional protection.

Cancer patients should be ready to embrace a raw diet, at least until their bodies stabilize. Keeping their fat intake to a minimum is vital. If possible, the use of natural oils like coconut oil is highly recommended. Avocados and nuts may be a good compromise to provide the essential fatty acids in the body necessary for oxygenation of the cells. Above all, digestion should never be knotty. The cancer cells are already straining the body enough and eating heavy foods like sugar, gluten, animal protein and lots of fats will only make the process worse, and probably accelerate tumour growth. Opting for natural supplements that neutralize the acidity in the body and provide an ample supply of systemic and digestive enzymes is therefore obligatory to aid in the cancer healing process.

Immune building and Homeopathy

The body naturally depends on its own immunity provided by the white blood cells, and I believe this was the original plan up until genetic disorders became a thing. Bearing in mind that cancer cells heavily mutate once in the body, it is possible for the body, by virtue of innate immune intelligence, to defend itself against this multiplication before it becomes uncontrollable. A special group of white blood cells whose sole purpose is to attack and destroy abnormal cells through the lymphatic system exists. The key now lies in energizing these special cells. Dietary supplements such as Aloe Vera and mushroom extracts are ideal in this case.

Again, in homeopathy, the body’s natural healing power is believed to be activated. Here, small dosages of remedial substances are given to the patient to boost the immunity. Though research on homeopathy is still fragmentary, it is possible that it may prove counteractive in the near future.

Detoxification

Accumulation of metabolic wastes in the body accelerates tumour multiplication. For effective cancer healing, it is important to flush out the accumulated wastes and toxins from the body. Lots of resources that offer knowledge on body cleansing can be found online and in books. Body purification reduces the load on the liver and kidneys, stimulating the immune system to fight the cancerous cells wholly. To speed up the detoxification process, there are additional lifestyle practices that can be adopted at home as an addendum. Frequent exercising and stretching ensure that the white blood cells in the body remain active throughout. Taking regular baths and drenching in a sauna every now and then keeps the skin clear to allow for reclamation through sweat. Fasting rejuvenates the body and foods like coffee enemas and castor oil prevent the reabsorption of toxins.

Raw chemotherapy

Artificial chemotherapy for a cancer cure, though feasible, can have adverse secondary effects like hair loss and body weakness among others. What most people don’t know is that there are risk-free chemotherapies that effectively prevent malignancy in the body. Naturally occurring foods like apricots seeds and apple pits contain Amygdalin that actively targets and destroys the tumour. Other supplements like shark cartilage and liver oil cut off blood supply to the cancerous cells. Of course, these treatments are not entirely standalone and are often applied as part of the comprehensive cancer therapy.

All in all, embracing a more body-friendly lifestyle is the most imperative part of this natural therapeutic process. Taking regular naps to the fullest allows the body to rebuild and purify itself from carcinogens that build up in the body while you’re awake. Exercising frequently and basking in the sun for vitamin D are all part of the salutary regime that you should aspire to adopt. Slowly, your body rebuilds its immunity and fights the cancerous cells, one step at a time.

A modern-day ‘Cancer Sherlock Holmes’, Jane discovered that a cancer-starving diet, powerful supplements and a handful of old, forgotten, low-toxicity drugs, when taken together, acted synergistically, magnifying each of their anti-cancer effects many times. Like magic, her terminal cancer just melted away.

Essential Oils and Anger

Anger affects each of us in different ways. Some people find that anger is practically non-existent in their lives while others will find that if they do not actively work to deal with it it will take over their lives. Anger is a natural emotion, something we have all experienced at some time in our lives. Just because it is a natural thing, does not mean that we should simply say there is nothing we can do about it. Countless people make changes in their lives every day that affect a natural function. We are not slaves to our appetites, our emotions, or our bodies. We all have the ability to make choices. I realize that some people have hormonal disorders that make it impossible to make a choice at times, but we can address the challenge, address the disorder in the body, and choose to make changes that will, ultimately, address the anger management issue. It will take patience, but there is always hope.

Essential oils can help us modify emotions both in an immediate fashion and over the long run. Essential oils are really not an oil. They are essential, essential to the plant because they are the immune system or defense system of that plant. They are not really oils though, they are a liptic acid. Your body is made of lipids; they are one of the building blocks of the body. Because of this, essential oils will be recognized as part of your body and taken in to create a change.

Four ways essential oils work scientifically in your body to create a change:

  1. Topical application.
  2. Frequency enhancement.
  3. Limbic System-emotional response, glandular reaction.
  4. External/Internal ingestion. Stick your tongue out (it is now external), put a drop of an essential oil on your tongue = external ingestion. We are not doctors, we cannot tell you to take something internally. BEFORE taking any essential oil internally make sure that it is EOBBD tested and has the FDA GRAS (generally regarded as safe) rating.

Today we will be discussing how essential oils affect the limbic system, the system that triggers emotional response and glandular reaction. The limbic system is the center of our emotions. Through smelling various essential oils we can elevate the body’s heart rate, we can lower the heart rate, we can raise blood pressure, we can lower blood pressure, etc. When you smell the essential oil it goes to the olfactory center of your nose where you have 40 million olfactory neurons. From the olfactory neurons it goes to the olfactory bulb, then from the olfactory bulb to the pineal and pituitary glands in your brain-we have now changed things in your body in a matter of seconds. Scents and emotions are linked in a powerful way. The smell of Lavender essential oil can quickly calm someone, while the scent of Peppermint can restore energy and heighten awareness.

First, you will want to play with some essential oils and see which ones fill your particular need. If your anger challenges are based on hormones you will need a different oil than if your challenge is based on past emotional trauma or if you deal with large amounts of stress. Some of the essential oils I’m going to mention are blends. A blend is simply that, a blend (or mix) of different essential oils. The blends we’ll be discussing are all created by a company called Be Young. Most essential oil companies have a specialist in house who is trained in the proper blending of essential oils. You want to look for a company that blends their oils by property, not aroma. Blending of essential oils by property maintains an essential oil’s ability to affect the body physically (hormones are a physical cause of anger). Aromatherapy blending addresses only the essential oil’s ability to affect the body by producing a pleasing scent. This may be effective if the anger stems from only an emotional source.

Cypress can help soothe nervous tension and make you feel grounded, more in control of situations. It helps you regain control when things seem to be slipping beyond your grasp. Apply Cypress oil to the sides of the second toe of both feet, in between the toes for the best results.

The Emotion essential oil blend has been designed specifically to assist with emotional challenges of any kind. It is also most effective when applied to the sides of the second toe of both feet. Applied regularly to the solar plexus it can help you move through difficult emotional times in your life.

The Quiet Scent essential oil blend has been designed to help calm emotional chatter. When our minds are racing from one subject to another or constantly going over and over the same thing, refusing to calm down, to relax, and unwind, this is the essential oil blend to turn to. You can put a drop on the palms of your hands, cup them around your nose and inhale deeply, diffuse this oil, or apply it to the back of the neck for best results. This is an oil blend that I find to be absolutely yummy smelling at times and other times the scent is almost repulsive to me. It all depends upon my emotional balance when I am smelling it.

Bergamot is a wonderfully calming oil. If someone is having a temper tantrum it is the oil I grab first. It seems to put life into perspective. It equalizes the emotions and moods by balancing the activity of the hypothalamus. It is said that smelling Bergamot oil can stabilize a person in a shaky emotional state.

Geranium (Rose Geranium), Lavender, Frankincense, and Orange are all essential oils that promote a warm, happy feeling and help balance the emotions. You can smell these oils, apply them to the back of the neck and temples, or use them to make a soothing, calming tea (make sure your essential oil is approved for internal use before doing this). To make a tea add 2-3 drops of your essential oil to a teaspoon of honey, stir well, then add the honey to a cup of hot water and allow to dissolve.

Hormonal swings can cause emotional swings as well. Use the Venus essential oil blend to address female hormone swings or the Mars blend to address male hormones. Apply the oil for your gender to soft tissue areas such as upper inside of arm, inside of thighs, abdomen, or breast area. Also apply around the ankles. Sometimes these are also good to put a drop in the palms, cup them over the nose, and inhale deeply.

Some people have emotional challenges due to injuries sustained to the brain. In these cases I have found that Frankincense and the Brain Gem blend are generally the most effective oils. Helichrysum may also be needed. These oils are all capable of passing the blood brain barrier and providing nutritional building blocks to the brain itself. Apply these oils to the back of the neck, the temples, and the big toes for best results.

If you have an emotional challenge you will want to learn more about the Emotional Aromatic Touch (EAT) treatment. You can find someone who has been trained to perform the full back treatment or you can learn to do the treatment yourself on your hands or feet. The EAT treatment can help you process emotions, balance hormones, release negative emotions, and center yourself. The EAT has been designed to balance and focus the energy centers of the body, also known as the chakras.

In traditional Chinese medicine it is believed that emotions and various organs of the body are interrelated. The liver is the organ of the body that is associated with anger. Western medicine teaches us that although the liver does not produce hormones (we have many different glands that do that), it is a major player in the regulation of hormones. The liver breaks down and metabolizes hormones after they have done their job in the body. Thus, if our liver is not functioning correctly we will have excess hormones in our body that will create emotional challenges. Our livers are also responsible for removing toxins from the body and breaking them down. Many of us live in highly toxic environments; if we are not actively supporting our livers we will find that we will experience more and more emotional challenges. The Liver Cleanse is a simple thing that we can add to our morning routine to assist in this process. Upon rising each morning simply consume one drop of Lemon essential oil, one drop of Peppermint essential oil, and one teaspoon to one tablespoon of fresh lemon juice. Remember; only consume an essential oil that is approved for internal use. The Be Young brand of essential oils is tested for internal use.

Interestingly enough, more and more studies are also showing that by modifying diets to include more fresh fruits and vegetables and less processed and prepared foods people are discovering that they have fewer mood swings and more easily controlled emotional outbursts. This would lead us to again look at the liver. Processed and prepared foods contain many additives that the body must remove and break down; these additives do not provide nutrition for our bodies. The job of processing out, breaking down, and removing these additives falls upon the liver.

Exercise is also a wonderful source of emotional outlet, thereby assisting in providing emotional control. This can be rigorous, stress releasing exercise of an aerobic nature or it can be calming, emotionally centering meditative exercise such as Yoga or Tai Chi.

I hope that I have given you some ideas to direct you in the way of peace and happiness. You may need a different oil than those I have suggested here. I have taught classes where someone walks in, looks at my display of oils, and is immediately drawn to one. That is an immediate clue to me that there is something about that oil that will help them with whatever challenge(s) they are facing. Be persistent, be patient, and do not give up hope.

How to Reduce Jet Lag

Traveling long distances, particularly over the date line often causes jet lag. Jet lag is when the sleep-wake patterns are disturbed and this can also cause physical stress. Combine this with changes in air pressure due to flying you may just feel completed exhausted. Symptoms of jet lag include, drowsiness, a feeling of lethargy, irritable, disorientated.

There are a number of easy ways to minimise jet lag and decrease any travel stress:

  • Spend as much time as possible traveling with your eyes closed. You may not sleep but this forces you to relax. Meditation or audios that assist in relaxation are a great option.
  • Avoid alcohol, soft drinks and fruit juices during the flight
  • If you can try not to eat the food provided and take a snack with you that is protein rich
  • Drink water
  • Re-set the sleep-wake pattern, stand facing the sun (make sure your eyes are protected and you are sunburn protected) for 10-15 minutes so that you get a healthy dose of sunlight. This simply resets your night time melatonin and makes sure it’s not activated to make you sleepy during the day.
  • Take melatonin tablets for an added boost in resetting your body clock
  • Use a good quality magnesium spray before you start your journey and when you arrive at your destination.  Bewitched Angel Jet Lag Magnesium Spray allows the effects of the magnesium to flow into your blood stream fast with the added benefit of essential oils.
